Question 1

What is BuildAlly?

Accepted Answer

BuildAlly is a construction management platform for construction companies. It brings your sites, teams, construction schedules, finances, documents, agreements and day-to-day operations into one place — with AI-powered construction intelligence built into the platform.

Question 2

Does BuildAlly include AI?

Accepted Answer

Yes. BuildAlly AI is included with your BuildAlly subscription, subject to fair-use limits designed to keep the service reliable for all customers. There is no separate AI add-on or extra AI charge.

Question 3

What can BuildAlly AI do?

Accepted Answer

BuildAlly AI understands your real BuildAlly data. It can answer questions about your sites, explain delays with evidence, summarize construction activity, identify what needs attention, and prepare operational tasks and multi-step workflows — which it hands to you for review before anything important happens.

Question 4

Can AI modify my construction schedule?

Accepted Answer

AI can prepare and execute approved operational actions through BuildAlly's controlled workflow, but construction schedule changes remain protected. Milestones and calculated dates stay under your control.

Question 5

Can I see BuildAlly before purchasing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Book a personalized demo and our team will walk you through BuildAlly with your workflows in mind. When you're ready, a 7-day paid trial (₹499) lets you evaluate it with your own team on real sites.

Question 6

Can I manage multiple construction sites?

Accepted Answer

Yes. BuildAlly is built for running multiple construction sites from one workspace — each with its own Site Hub, dashboards, schedule, documents, photos and team, plus a company-wide view across all of them.

Question 7

Who is BuildAlly for?

Accepted Answer

Construction companies of every size — builders, civil contractors and turnkey teams — as well as interior designers. Directors get oversight, project managers run the work, site engineers get a simple mobile task list, and clients stay connected through their own portal.

Question 8

Can AI create tasks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. BuildAlly AI can create operational tasks and prepare multi-step workflows — collecting the required information and attachments first — and it acts only after you review and confirm.

Question 9

Can I create agreements and quotations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Directors can use the Agreement Creator and Quotation Generator directly from BuildAlly to produce professional PDF documents — even before the project exists as a site.

Question 10

Can different employees have different permissions?

Accepted Answer

Yes, through role-based access. Each person sees exactly the part of the business their role allows — enforced by the server, not just hidden in the interface.

Question 11

Can I invite my team members?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Team members can securely join through invitation links, each with the right role-based access — directors, admins, project managers, engineers, finance, and HR.

Question 12

What happens if my subscription expires?

Accepted Answer

You retain read-only access to your workspace. Your data is never deleted — you can view everything and simply reactivate to start editing again.

Question 13

Is my data secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every company gets an isolated workspace, with nine roles and 60+ permissions enforced server-side on every request — not just hidden in the interface. Location and permission changes are written to an append-only audit log, and attendance selfies are encrypted at rest.

Question 14

Is BuildAlly mobile friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The BuildAlly Android app is available on Google Play, and the iOS app is coming soon to the App Store. Your team can also install BuildAlly straight from the browser as a progressive web app — no app store needed. It uses the native camera and GPS for attendance and verified photos, and queues work offline so nothing is lost when signal drops on site.

Question 15

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel whenever you like and you keep access for the rest of the period you've paid for. After that your workspace turns read-only — your data is never deleted.

Question 16

Can BuildAlly work for smaller contractors?

Accepted Answer

Yes. BuildAlly is designed for growing construction businesses — start small and scale up as your team and number of sites grow.

Question 17

Will my field team actually use it?

Accepted Answer

That's the design goal. BuildAlly is mobile-first and WhatsApp-simple: a bottom navigation bar, quick actions, and camera-first capture that works offline and syncs automatically when back online.

Question 18

Can I manage subcontractors and payroll?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Assign subcontractors to sites, track their payments and utilization, and run salary requests, payroll, and payslips — all from the same workspace, with role-based permissions.

Question 19

Is the trial free?

Accepted Answer

No. The BuildAlly trial costs ₹499 and lasts 7 days. It includes 3 active sites and 10 team members, so you can evaluate BuildAlly with your own team on real projects.

Question 20

How many sites are included?

Accepted Answer

Starter includes 3 active sites. Growth includes 10, and can be expanded to 18 with paid site add-ons. Business includes 25. Enterprise limits are custom, agreed with our team. A completed site doesn't count towards your limit.

Question 21

Do key holders count toward the team-member limit?

Accepted Answer

No. Key holders are excluded from your plan's team-member limit. Your plan's team-member limit applies to eligible team accounts. Key holders are excluded from this limit. Key Holder is BuildAlly's client role — the access you give a project's client so they can follow their own project. Being an owner, director, admin or manager doesn't make someone a key holder.

Question 22

Can I add more sites to Starter?

Accepted Answer

No. Site add-ons are available only on Growth. If you need more than Starter's 3 active sites, move up to Growth (10 sites, expandable to 18) or Business (25 sites).

Question 23

What if I need more than 25 sites?

Accepted Answer

Contact the BuildAlly team for Enterprise pricing. Enterprise pricing and limits are agreed with you — send us an enquiry from the pricing page with roughly how many active sites you run, and we'll get back to you.

Question 24

Can I pay monthly or annually?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Monthly and annual billing are available for Starter, Growth and Business. Annual plans are billed once a year — Starter ₹14,999, Growth ₹44,999, Business ₹89,999 — which costs less than twelve monthly payments.

Question 25

What happens after the trial?

Accepted Answer

When your 7 days end, choose the paid plan that fits your company — Starter, Growth or Business, billed monthly or annually. Until you subscribe, your workspace is read-only: nothing you added during the trial is deleted.

Question 26

How do Growth site add-ons work?

Accepted Answer

Growth includes 10 active sites. You can add up to 8 more — ₹375 per site per month on a monthly plan, or ₹3,999 per site per year on an annual plan — for 18 active sites in total. Add-ons are billed on the same period as your Growth subscription, and aren't available on other plans.

Question 27

What happens when I reach my site limit?

Accepted Answer

Nothing is deleted — every existing site, document and record stays exactly where it is. Only new active sites are paused until there's room: complete a finished site to free its slot, add site add-ons on Growth, or move up a plan.

Question 28

How much storage do I get?

Accepted Answer

Starter includes 10 GB, Growth includes 50 GB, Business includes 200 GB. Images are optimised on upload, so storage goes further than you'd expect. If you reach your limit, new uploads pause until you move up a plan or remove files you no longer need — nothing already uploaded is deleted.

Question 29

Do the prices include GST?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every price on our pricing page is inclusive of GST — the tax is shown separately on your invoice, but it is never added on top of the price you see.

Question 30

Is AI included?

Accepted Answer

Yes. BuildAlly AI is included with every plan, subject to fair-use limits designed to keep the service reliable for all customers. There is no separate AI plan or add-on.

Question 31

Can I change plans later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can move up a plan at any time without losing any data — your sites, documents and history carry over untouched.

Question 32

Do you support promotional codes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you have a promotional code from our team or one of our campaign partners, apply it securely at checkout — the discount is reflected before you pay.

Question 33

My team won't use new software.

Accepted Answer

Mobile-first and WhatsApp-simple. Quick actions, camera capture, and it works offline.

Question 34

We're too small for this.

Accepted Answer

BuildAlly is built for growing construction businesses. Book a quick walkthrough and see it work at your scale.

Question 35

Switching sounds painful.

Accepted Answer

Invite your team through secure links and onboard with our team's help. Book a demo first — no commitment.

Question 36

Is our data safe?

Accepted Answer

Tenant isolation, role-based access, modern authentication, and encrypted infrastructure — by default.

Question 37

What if my subscription lapses?

Accepted Answer

You keep read-only access to your workspace and your data is never deleted. Reactivate anytime.
